SECTION 1 – WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us like your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

Email marketing: With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.

SECTION 2 – CONSENT 

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

SECTION 3 – DISCLOSURE

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 – WooCommerce

Our store is hosted on Word Press and uses Woo Commerce to ensure safe and secure online transactions. WooCommerce provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Payment:
 We add an extra security layer to ensure you’re personal and payment information is kept secure at all times. We use a Secure Sockets Layer known an SSL. SSL is a security technology that establishes an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. When using SSL, your browser address will update to HTTPS which tells you, you are using an added security layer. All data passed between the web server and browsers stay private and integral. Only your browser and our store can decrypt the information being sent across a HTTPS.

Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS) as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS are a set of security standard that outline Australian business requirements for security management of card data. It ensures the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

Our store uses Google Analytics to help us learn about who visits our site and what pages are being looked at.

Strictly necessary:

These are the cookies that are essential for websites on WordPress.com to perform their basic functions. These include those required to allow registered users to authenticate and perform account related functions, as well as to save the contents of virtual ‘carts’ on sites that have an e-commerce functionality.

cookietest – checks if cookies are enabled to provide appropriate user experience.


Functionality:

These cookies are used to store preferences set by users when using our website such as account name, language, and location.

akm_mobile – stores whether a user has chosen to view the mobile version of a site.

botdlang – used to track the language a user has selected to view popular blogs in.

wordpress_logged_in* – used to check whether the current visitor is a logged in WordPress.com user.

wp-settings-{user_id} – used to persist a user’s wp-admin configuration.

wp_sharing_{id} – used to track whether or not a user has already performed an action.

Performance:

Performance cookies collect information on how users interact with websites hosted on WordPress.com, including what pages are visited most, as well as other analytical data. These details are only used to improve how a website functions.

ab – used for AB testing of new features.

nux_flow_name – identifies which user signup flow was shown to the user.
signup_partner_ref – tracks the source of new user signups.

signup_referrer – tracks the source of new user signups.

tk_ni|tk_ai|tk_qs – collection of internal metrics for user activity, used to improve user experience.

Advertising/tracking:

These cookies are used to display relevant advertising to visitors on WordPress.com sites, as well as to track the volume of visitors to the WordPress.com network. They track details about visitors such as the number of unique visitors, number of times times particular ads have been displayed, the number of clicks the ads have received, and are also used to measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns by building up user profiles. These are set by Automattic and trusted third party networks, and are generally persistent in nature.

ads – tracks if a visitor has clicked an ad before.
wordpress_eli – reduces display of ads for repeat visitors.

Third party content:
We make use of different third party applications and services to make your online experience better. These include social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram, through the use of sharing buttons, or embedded content from Youtube and Vimeo. As a result, cookies may be set by these third parties, and used by them to track your online activity. We have no direct control over the information that is collected by these cookies.

To keep track of cart data, WooCommerce makes use of 3 cookies:

wp_woocommerce_session_

The first two cookies contain information about the cart as a whole and helps WooCommerce know when the cart data changes. The final cookie (wp_woocommerce_session_) contains a unique code for each customer so that it knows where to find the cart data in the database for each customer. No personal information is stored within these cookies.
